Traditions of Spring Hill Senior Living Welcomes First Residents

Traditions of Spring Hill, an assisted living and memory support community, welcomed its first residents as they moved in this week. The community held its official Grand Opening Celebration and Ribbon Cutting on December 7. In attendance were members of the Spring Hill Chamber of Commerce, Traditions residents, staff and managers, and several hundred individuals from the Spring Hill area. A food drive was held in conjunction with the grand opening, benefitting The Well Outreach.
Traditions Senior Living CEO Wes Bartlett stated at the grand opening that Traditions of Spring Hill is “honored to be serving the families of Spring Hill and surrounding areas. Knowing that loved ones are safe, happy, and well gives peace of mind for everyone.”
Traditions of Spring Hill Senior Executive Director Beverly Hissner Selected for THCA/TNCAL Future Leaders

Beverly Hissner, Senior Executive Director at Traditions of Spring Hill, has been chosen by the Tennessee Center for Assisted Living to participate in their Future Leaders Program in 2018. The Tennessee Center for Assisted Living (TNCAL), an organization of the Tennessee Health Care Association (THCA), is an organization committed to the interests of assisted care living facilities and to providing the tools they need to provide the most compassionate, quality care possible while maintaining their viability for years to come. The TNCAL/THCA Future Leaders Program seeks to identify, develop and train current and future participants in the association’s governing structure.
A native of Pennsylvania, Beverly relocated to Spring Hill, TN to lead the Traditions of Spring Hill team. Beverly has vast experience in the senior living industry. Her 16 years’ experience with one of the country’s largest Health Care companies, HCR Manorcare, allowed her to expand her administrative experience (she held the position of Licensed Personal Care Home Administrator for 10 years) to include Home Health and Hospice, serving 9 counties in South Central Pennsylvania. She also has extensive experience in dementia education, fiscal management of agencies and facilities, and team building. A graduate of Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, she also attended Temple University’s Master of Social Work program. Her previous experience includes hospital and nursing home social work, healthcare marketing, and administrations positions.
